- The Company
Twenty-nine years in uniform. One standard.
Strict attention to detail, and do it right the first time.

- Erik's Story
From Master Sergeant to your kitchen table.
Cozy Walls is owned and operated by Erik Hoffman, a retired U.S. Army Master Sergeant with 29 years of service. The Army teaches a lot of things, but the one that stuck hardest is simple: details are everything. The mission gets done right, completely, the first time — because someone is counting on it.
That’s how we insulate houses.
It’s why every job starts and ends with a blower door test instead of a promise. It’s why the thermal camera stays out during the fill, not just at the sales call. It’s why the short stud cavities over your windows — the ones that are easy to skip because nobody would ever know — get filled every time.
Somebody’s counting on it: you, every January and July for the rest of the time you own the house.
Erik personally performs every estimate. When you call Cozy Walls, the person who walks your home, scans your walls, and hands you a number is the owner — not a commissioned salesman with a quota and a script.
This is a picture of Erik and both of his sons serving in the army together!
- The Crew
The people in your driveway
Our installation crew has filled the walls of over 200 Wisconsin homes. They know what a 1920s balloon-framed farmhouse does differently than a 1965 ranch, why the cavity over a window matters, and what a properly color-matched mortar patch looks like.
They’re led in the field by a crew chief whose bonus is tied to one thing: jobs done so well nobody ever has to come back.

- What We Believe
The standard we hold on every job
Prove it, don't promise it.
Blower door before. Thermal imaging during. Blower door after. Every job leaves behind evidence, not adjectives.
The truth costs nothing.
If a wall doesn't need foam, we'll tell you. If a rebate applies, we'll file it. If a fix isn't ours to sell, we'll point you to who sells it.
Stand behind it — forever.
Lifetime-of-the-Home, Transferable Warranty. If it's ours, we fix it: no trip fee, no material fee, no technician fee.
- What We Believe
