Injection Foam Wall Insulation in Waukesha, Milwaukee & Southern Wisconsin

Foam injected into the closed walls of your existing home. No tear-out, and we never touch a wall in your living space.
Many older Southern Wisconsin homes have little or nothing inside the exterior walls. Cozy Walls drills small holes from the outside, fills every stud cavity with UPC 500 pour-in-place foam (R-3.9 per inch, and it air-seals), then patches the holes. Insulate all of your exterior walls for as little as a $5,000 service (based on square footage). With your Focus on Energy check*, that’s $3,575 net to insulate your whole home.

Insulation That Works Inside Your Existing Walls

Cold rooms, drafty outlets and high heating bills in a Wisconsin winter usually trace back to the same cause: exterior walls and an open rim joist with little or no insulation. Old fiberglass and cellulose settle over the decades and leave the top of each wall cavity empty. Injection foam fills those cavities completely, top to bottom, without opening up a single interior wall.
On sided homes we lift a course of siding and drill through the sheathing. On brick homes we drill 3/4-inch, nickel-sized holes. Each cavity is filled with foam and every hole is patched. Most jobs are done in one day; two-story homes and homes over 1,400 square feet usually take two. Every job is backed by our lifetime transferable warranty.

Why Homeowners Consider Injection Foam Insulation

Adding insulation to suitable wall cavities can help address common comfort and energy-efficiency concerns in existing homes.

Improved Indoor Comfort

Fills the empty and settled cavities that make outside rooms cold in winter and hot in summer, so every room holds the same temperature.

Suitable for Existing Homes

Installed from the outside on sided and brick homes. No drywall removal, and we never touch a wall in your living space.

Reduced Heat Transfer

R-3.9 per inch and air-sealing, so your walls stop drafts as well as heat loss and your furnace runs less through a Wisconsin winter.

Sound Deadening

Foam-filled walls quiet traffic, neighbors and outside noise, a benefit homeowners notice the first night.

Open framing? We spray foam that too.

Injection foam is for walls that are already closed up. Anywhere you can see the studs, joists, or rafters, closed-cell spray foam is the better fit, and we do that too.

How the Process Works

How Injection Foam Wall Insulation Works

01

Home and wall assessment

We inspect the exterior walls and review the home's construction to determine whether the existing wall cavities are suitable for injection foam insulation.

02

Access points are prepared

Small holes are drilled from the outside, behind a lifted course of siding or nickel-sized on brick, so nothing is removed inside your living space.

03

Foam is injected into the wall cavities

Injection foam is introduced into the wall cavities through the prepared access points. The material fills available spaces and adds insulation between the interior and exterior sides of the wall.

04

Openings are sealed and the area is checked

Once the insulation work is complete, the access openings are sealed and the work area is cleaned. The completed installation is checked to ensure the wall sections have been properly addressed.

The Cozy Walls team was an absolute pleasure to work with. I have an older home that was originally built in the early 1900’s. It was drafty and I could hear a lot of road noise from inside my living room. That is until Cozy Walls did their thing. The noise reduction was the first thing I noticed. I couldn’t believe the difference. Erik was very informative and the Veteran Discount helped a lot! Definitely worth the cost as I’m already noticing a difference in my energy bill. Highly recommend!

Took 3 times the quote to finish. Left unfixed exterior wall damage. I had to find someone else to fix.

Me and my wife just bought our first house and discovered that our bedroom was very cold compared to the rest of the house, and that our furnace was almost constantly running struggling to keep the house warm. Cozy Walls came out and insulated the entire house and garage and found out that most of our walls had no insulation anymore due to the age and the insulation deteriorating. Since having work done our bedroom is much warmer and our furnace runs a lot less, saving us money! Amy and Zach run a great business and their crew was very professional. And it was very affordable and cost-effective. They placed blankets over my motorcycles in the garage so they wouldn't get dirty during the work being performed and they cleaned up everything very well after. Cannot recommend Cozy Walls enough if you need any insulation done in your house

WELL worth the read! Customer service ? This company is right on point! From Zack and Amy to the rest of their team, wow! Until I found these two companies, I had an awful and long time getting one to return my calls or come out for an estimate. I saw an ad on TV for Healthy Home Insulation, left a message on a Sunday, they came out the next day! Before Erik left he gave me an estimate for attic and basement (Healthy Homes) as well the walls from (Cozy Walls Insulation.) They were out here the following week to complete the job! I have HORRIBLE allergies that can cause my eyes to swell shut to causing vertigo. I was concerned that the smell of foam spray would be an issue. Amy, Cozy Walls said they would come out try a wall see how it went. If it was ok, complete the job, if not, we would figure something out. To me this is a company that truly cares about their customers! BOTH companies have gone above and beyond from start to finish. I would recommend them to anyone!
