- BROOKFIELD’S HOUSING PROBLEM
Brookfield grew fast — and its walls show it.
Brookfield’s neighborhoods filled in through the ’60s, ’70s, and ‘80s: colonials, splitlevels, and sprawling ranches on generous lots. Solid houses, built well for their time —
but “their time” insulated walls to standards we’d never accept today. Thin batts, gaps
at every wire and pipe, and forty-plus years of settling.
The result is a house that looks like a million bucks and performs like a screen door:
- The A/C runs all day in July and the house still won’t drop below 79
- The furnace can’t hold 65 on a January night — and never shuts off trying
- The rooms over the garage and at the far end of the hall are never the right temperature
- Bathroom or kitchen pipes on an exterior wall that freeze every cold snap
- Frost on the inside of the walls on the coldest mornings
Your walls are the biggest surface of your home. We fix that — and prove it — in a day or two.
- How It Works
Most Brookfield homes: done in one day; two-story or 1,400+ sq ft: two.
- 01 — MEASURE
Measure
Blower door test first — a hard number on how much air your home leaks. Thermal imaging shows exactly where.
- 02 — ACCESS
Access
A course of siding comes off — or dimesized holes through mortar joints on brick homes. Nothing gets torn open.
- 03 — FILL
Fill
Injection foam fills every cavity completely and cures in place — it never settles or sags.
- 04 — PROVE IT
Prove It
Siding back on, final thermal scan, and a second blower door test. Before and after, side by side. Our tests routinely measure at least 25% less air leakage — and up to 50%.

- WHY YOUR NEIGHBORS PICK US
Owned by a neighbor, not a franchise.
Cozy Walls is owned by Erik Hoffman — a retired Army Master Sergeant with 29 years of
service, a standard of strict attention to detail, and a shop ten minutes away in
Waukesha. Our crew has insulated over 200 Wisconsin homes, and when you call for
an estimate, the person at your door is Erik — the owner, not a salesman.
Every job is backed by our Lifetime-of-the-Home, Transferable Warranty — the
foam is warranted never to settle, sag, or lose performance for as long as your house
stands, and it transfers to the next owner if you sell.

- BROOKFIELD FAQ
Local questions, straight answers
Do you charge a trip fee to come out to Brookfield?
Never — you’re ten minutes from
our shop. Estimates are free, and there’s no travel charge.
My home is a two-story colonial. Does that change anything?
We insulate twostory homes all the time. The upper walls take staging or a lift, and every cavity — both
floors — gets filled and verified with thermal imaging. Two-story work is quoted
accordingly, and usually takes two days.
We have a room over the garage that’s always freezing. Can you fix that?
That
room is the classic Brookfield complaint — it usually has under-insulated walls on three
sides. Foam-filling those walls is exactly the fix, and the thermal camera will show you
the before and after.
Will you handle the Focus on Energy paperwork?
Every page of it. You just cash the
check.
